Ice Cream Adventure
Meera: "Ravi, run! The ice cream cart is turning the corner!"
Ravi: "I’m running! My chappal is making that flap-flap sound!"
Meera: "Uncle! Two orange bars, please!"
Ravi: "And one chocolate for Thatha, he’s waiting on the bench."
Ice Cream Uncle: "Arrey wah, so fast-fast you both came. Here, hold these carefully."
Meera: "Ravi, your face is so red. You look like a tomato."
Ravi: "I can’t talk… my chest feels funny… I’m all… puff-puff."
Meera: "Did you get scared? Are you going to faint?"
Ravi: "No… just… give me a second. I’m totally breathless from running."
Thatha: "Come, sit here under the neem tree. Take small licks, not giant bites."
Meera: "Listen to your own rule, Ravi. You’re gobbling like the ice cream will run away."
Ravi: "But it’s melting! Look, it’s racing down the stick like a waterfall."
Meera: "Your breath is still going hhh-fff, hhh-fff. You really were breathless."
Ravi: "Yeah, my lungs were shouting, ‘Ravi, stop! We need air!’"
Thatha: "Sometimes we get breathless when we run too fast. Then we rest, and our breath finds us again."
Meera: "Next time, we won’t sprint the whole way. We can do fast walking."
Ravi: "Fast walking? That’s just slow running in a fancy dress."
Meera: "Fine, Mr. Fancy Dress. When you get breathless again, I’m eating your ice cream."
Ravi: "No chance. I’m already feeling better. See? Not breathless now… just happy-full."
