Jalebi Dilemma
Maya: "I want all the big jalebis, Kabir. You take the small ones."
Kabirfewer jalebis and they’re tiny.": "Not fair! Then I get
Maya: "But I’m older. Older people need more sweets."
Kabir: "Amma said too many sweets give you a tummyache, remember?"
Amma: "What’s happening here, jalebi monsters?"
Maya: "Kabir wants the big ones, but then I’ll have fewer."
Kabir: "If she takes all the big ones, I’ll have fewer and smaller. That’s double bad."
Amma: "Hmm. How about you count and share?"
Maya: "There are six big ones and six small ones."
Kabir: "Let’s each take three big and three small. Then no one has fewer."
Maya: "Okay… but I want the extra crispy piece stuck to this one."
Kabir: "Fine, then I get this sticky syrup puddle."
Amma: "So now, does anyone have fewer jalebis?"
Maya: "No. We both have the same, and my tummy has fewer grumbles."
Kabir: "And Amma has fewer worries… until we ask for more!"
