Impromptu Balcony Theatre
Maya: "Uff, I’m bored. Amma said we can’t go to the park, it’s too hot."
Rohan: "Same here. My cricket bat is just lying there like a sleepy lizard."
Maya: "We already played carrom, and my dolls are tired of changing clothes."
Rohan: "Your balcony smells like roasted peanuts. Now I’m hungry."
Maya: "That’s Appa’s snack. He said, ‘Don’t finish it in one bite, okay?’"
Rohan: "What if we do a show for him instead? Like a… balcony theatre!"
Maya: "But we didn’t plan anything. No costumes, no tickets, nothing."
Rohan: "So what? We can just start. I’ll be a superhero peanut."
Maya: "A peanut with a cape? That’s so silly it might actually work."
Rohan: "You be the villain chilli who wants to make everything too spicy."
Maya: "I’ll need Amma’s red dupatta! Wait, she’ll ask a hundred questions."
Rohan: "Tell her it’s for our sudden, made-up play. Like… quick-quick."
Amma: "Why are you two whispering near my cupboard like secret thieves?"
Maya: "Amma, we’re doing an impromptu play on the balcony. Can I borrow your red dupatta?"
Amma: "Impromptu, ah? So no rehearsals, just straight from your head to the stage?"
Rohan: "Yes, Aunty! Just now only, with superhero peanuts and villain chillies!"
Amma: "Hmm, an impromptu balcony drama while the dal is boiling. Sounds perfect."
Maya: "See, Rohan? Our impromptu show will make Appa’s peanuts extra fun."
Rohan: "And if we forget our lines, we’ll just make new ones—impromptu style!"
