The Comfort of Lantern Light
Have you ever used a flashlight and wished the light felt softer and safer? A lantern is a container that holds a light or flame so it can shine without the wind or your hand putting it out.
Because the sides of lanternslanternsprotect the flame or bulb, the light can glow for a long time and help people see in the dark. Some use candles, and some use batteries, but they all spread light around a space.
