The Colorful Procession
On Sunday evening, Anya heard drums outside her window—dum, dum, dum-dum! She ran out and saw a long, colorful procession moving slowly down the lane.
There was an elephant with tinkling bells, men carrying bright umbrellas, and aunties in jasmine garlands. The air smelled of incense and hot pakoras from a roadside stall.
