Diwali Preparations with Dadi
Kavya: "Dadi, why are you wearing a bright pink sari and a big, shiny nose ring to make Diwali sweets?"
Dadi: "Why not, beta? It's a special day and I want to feel like a queen, even if I'm just making laddus in the kitchen!"
Kavya: "But you look a bit silly, Dadi. Is that okay?"
Dadi: "It's more than okay, beta! Sometimes being a little silly is what makes things fun. Like when we make funny faces with the diyas or wear crazy hats on Holi."
Kavya: "I love wearing crazy hats on Holi! And I love your silly nose ring, Dadi."
Dadi: "I'm glad you like it, beta. You know what? I think a little bit of silliness, or ridiculousness, is what makes our festivals so special. It's like adding extra sugar to the laddus – it makes everything sweeter!"
Kavya: "Yeah! And it makes me happy to see you being silly, Dadi. Can I wear a silly hat too while we make sweets?"
Dadi: "Of course, beta! The more ridiculousness we add to our day, the more fun we'll have. Now, let's get creative and make this Diwali one to remember!"
